2019 Gerler Pinot Noir
From two different vineyards in Adelaide Hills, one cold and exposed and windy, the other - not so much. The warmer site adds generosity, but overall this wine is pretty muscular anyway. Most of it is a clone of Pinot (MV6) that has tiny bunches, and when you add a good chunk of whole bunchy goodness, there's no shortage of tannins.
Drinking superbly now.
Let customers speak for us
from 10 reviewsI got this one cos it was a best-seller and wanted to see what the fuss was about... pleased to say it's well-deserved. Beautiful for savouring as a wind-down treat at the end of a long day, or splitting a bottle with mates over a platter of cheese and meats.
I do love a dry Rose and this one was a corker. The kind of wine you open ‘just for one glass’... and suddenly the bottle’s gone. Will be back for more.
Crisp, zesty and sooo easy to drink. It was a like a chardonnay, but different and quite fresh. Loved every sip.
Absolutely loved this Shiraz. It’s everything I want in a red - juicy fruit with a velvety finish. Great quality.
